Rough Night for the 28 TruckThe 4th race of the season was a rough one for Kevin Wiseman, Driver of the #28 DLR and Associates Chevy Silverado. Wiseman brought home a 9th place finish, but dropped to 4th in the 2011 Nascar 360 Truck Series Points standings.
It certainly was a rough night for us, it seemed that we couldn't go more than a lap or two without getting into some one, Wiseman says. The truck was plenty fast and handled pretty good, but our feature starting position left me in traffic all night.Overall, I am happy with a top 10, but the truck is tore up a bit and will require a lot of work before the next race. Wiseman concluded.
Wiseman drew the #27 chip forcing him to start in the 3rd heat race in dead last. When the green flag fell, Wiseman set sail leading all eventually moving up to 3rd before the laps ran out.
Wiseman started the feature in 15th out of the 20 truck field. When the green flag fell Wiseman set a path toward the front; however, on lap three while racing three wide, Wiseman ran into the back of the 00 truck causing substantial right front body and suspension damage.
